Application of Iron Oxide Pigments 1

2024 / 08 / 09
I am Otto, learning about pigments. As a benchmark in the pigment industry, Lanxess has always been in a leading position. Today, I will learn about the application of Lanxess Bayferrox® and Colortherm® series pigments in coloring concrete paving stones. If there are any errors, please help me correct them.

The color range of the Bayferrox® and Colortherm® product lines includes yellow, orange, red, green, brown, and black, with various other tones in between.

Due to their high coloring strength of up to 15% and reliable color consistency, Bayferrox® 330 and Bayferrox® 340 black pigments have become the preferred choice for coloring high-quality cement-based building materials.

The production of colored paving bricks may require the use of materials such as ash, waste glass, cement, curing agents, pigments, etc. Ash and waste glass are sorted, cleaned, crushed, and mixed with cement, curing agents, and pigments in a certain proportion to form the main material for colored paving bricks. Put the prepared main materials into the mold, press it with a hydraulic press to form it, and then use a hydraulic pump to produce the finished colored paving bricks.
