I am Otto, learning about pigments. As a benchmark in the pigment industry, Lanxess has always been in a leading position. Today, I will learn about Lanxess Bayferrox® Application of series pigments in rubber coloring. If there are any errors, please help me correct them.

Adding iron oxide black to rubber can significantly improve its wear resistance, tensile strength, and tear resistance. Its high hardness particles can be uniformly dispersed in rubber, reducing the wear of the rubber matrix and effectively transmitting and dispersing stress when subjected to tension or tearing, thereby improving the durability of rubber products.

In addition, iron oxide black has good dispersibility and can be evenly distributed in the rubber matrix, avoiding agglomeration and improving the quality uniformity and performance stability of rubber products. Moreover, iron oxide black can absorb ultraviolet rays, reduce the destructive effect of ultraviolet rays on rubber, and improve the weather resistance and service life of rubber products.

Black rubber products are widely used in fields such as automotive tires and rubber seals.
