I am Otto, learning about pigments. As a benchmark in the pigment industry, Lanxess has always been in a leading position. Today, I will learn about the application of Lanxess Bayferrox® series pigments in colored plaster. If there are any errors, please help me correct them.
Iron oxide reacts with components such as silicon dioxide in gypsum to produce various colors of gypsum molds, such as bright yellow, reddish brown, brown, etc. At the same time, it can also promote the removal rate of crystalline moisture, improve the hardness and density of gypsum.
In addition, iron oxide can alter the crystal structure of gypsum, giving it higher toughness and tensile strength, making it less prone to fracture during use.
